TEACHERS

Petrusjka Broholm; born 1968

Petrusjka Broholm was trained at the Ballet School of the Royal Theatre. She became an apprentice in 1984 and was engaged as a dancer by the Royal Danish Ballet. From 1991 she was engaged by the Deutche Oper Ballet in Berlin as soloist, but returned to the Royal Danish Ballet, where she was appointed soloist in 1995. Petrusjka has danced number of roles with the Royal Danish Ballet and she has been awarded several grants; DANCE-grant, Svenåge Larsens Grant, Hans Brenås Grant, IBM, Bournonville-grant and Schonberg Grant.

Jarmo Rastas; born 1952       

Jarmo Rastas was engaged by the Finnish National Ballet in 1969, and in the course of his highly successful career he has appeared in leading roles in numerous classical and modern ballets. He is a graduate of the Finnish National Opera Ballet School; he later studied in London, France and Switzerland. Today, Jarmo Rastas is a repetiteur and teacher at the Finnish National Ballet and makes guest appearances in various ballet productions.
