Application
The application period starts 1 September 2011 and the deadline for applications is 31 January 2012. The deadline is the same both for Finnish and for international applicants. Applications will be reviewed by the Competition Selection Committee. Applicants resident in Finland will be expected to participate in the Finnish Preliminary Round on 11 February 2012 at the National Opera Almi Hall. All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decision by 1 March 2012.
The electronic application form is on the top of this page. Besides the application form the competitors must provide the Competition Office with photographs, recommendations and a written permission for the use of the round II contemporary choreography and music protected by the copyright act. The application fee of 50 euros must be paid to complete the application. You may return later to the electronic application form to supplement your application, but all information must be filled in by the deadline of 31 January 2012.
