Competitors

The Helsinki International Ballet Competition 2009 is able to choose a maximum of 100 participants. The deadline for applications is 31st January 2009 and the Selection Committee's decision will be published by 15th March 2009. Competitors’ profiles will be posted on these pages after 15th March.

Rehearsals

The organisers agree to provide rehearsal rooms for all competitors during the whole period of their participation and one technical rehearsal with lights before their appearance on the stage of the Opera House.

Insurance and medical help

Each competitor has to take care of his/her own travel insurance. The competitors will be insured by the organisers for the period of the competition. Medical help and physiotherapy will be provided to the competitors by the Hospital Orton.
